Regular readers may recall me running a feature on Kat Swank back in February. Using all-original pieces, Kat upcycles her finds into the most amazing fascinators, headpieces and other textile art-accessories.
I discovered Kat through Giselle Scanlon, who wrote The Goddess Guide/Experience and who kindly donated a copy of The Goddess Experience for one lucky reader on it's launch in February. Giselle is a big supporter of the 'Etsy' designer – those talented and often home-based designer's and crafts-people who, thanks to Etsy, might otherwise struggle to get their name, and their fabulous skills noticed by the world.
Kat and I have stayed in touch ever since my original feature, and the other week, she sent me some new photographs of her latest designs.

The Great queen Morrigan…
Perhaps the most impressive design for me, is this unbelievably gorgeous feather cape ~ 'The Great Queen Morrigan 4 in 1 Feather Capelet' ~ $230/£157. The Morrigan was the shape-shifting Celtic Goddess of War, Fate and Death.
