A Bouquet of Berries and Roses…

Morning everyone 🙂 I couldn't resist sharing a few lovely wedding photographs with you today from a Bride who looked pretty in her winter fur stole and with a bonny bouquet of berries and roses.

This is the wedding of Laura and Chris, who tied the knot on 20 November 2010 with a ceremony at The Chapel at St.Leonard's Mayfield School, chosen because Laura went to school there, followed by a reception at Penshurst Place & Gardens, near Tunbridge Wells.

Laura's dress was an Alan Hannah design, and purchasd from Pantiles Bride in Tunbridge Wells.

"I didn't want a strapless dress, and I loved the sparkles on the straps and the vintage looking jewels on the front of the dress. I feel in love with it as soon as I put it on…"

With special thanks to Sussex Wedding and Portrait Photographers Tino & Pip for sending in this lovely wedding…

I just adore Laura's late Autumnal bouquet of berries and roses, which was preapred by Ben at Style Workshop in Tunbridge Wells

"Ben showed me lots of pictures of arrangements he had done before, and I loved the vintage look of the flowers that I chose. Creams & pinks can look very sumery but adding winter berries and greenary gave them a wintery edge…"

Transport to the Church for the Bride was by way of an original 1921 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost.  The Bridesmaids & Mother of Bride were escorted via an original 1947 Rolls Royce Silver Wraith Sedanca De Ville.

Both vehicles were hired by Odds Car Hire, who Laura says were amazing and fantastic to work with…

A love of candles and subtle sparkle inspired the venue decor, so there were lots of candles in glass tea-light holders and wrought iron candelabras…

The couples cake was a by from Marks & Spencer

"We chose something a bit less traditional – chocolate cake with white chocolate curls, it was delicious!"

Words of Wedded Wisdom…

"Stay calm and remember to enjoy the planning and most importantly- enjoy the day. It is about you and your husband to be, if something doesn't go quite to plan on the day, it really doesn't matter!

It was the most magical and wonderful day. I can honestly say that Chris & I enjoyed every minute. I was really worried that I was going to cry during the ceremony (and everyone kept reminding me that it would be absolutely fine if I did cry!) but as soon as I saw all the faces of our family and friends, and Chris standing in front of the alter, I just felt so excited and happy and not tearful at all!"
