Peacock Feather Buttonhole & Bouquets for a 1950’s Style Bride…

Morning my lovely blog readers. I was visiting my statistics page last night and note there are a fair few more of you visiting Love My Dress of late.  Welcome! I hope you enjoy dropping in frequently from hereon to be inspired 🙂

This delightful bite-size collection of photographs come to you from one of my top few favourite Wedding Photographers, Jodie Chapman.  Part of what I like to refer to as 'The Classy Group', Jodie's style oozes charm and elegance, which was rather perfect for couple Ben and Trish and their March time wedding.

I adore Trish's 1950's style wedding dress and her gorgeous peacock feather wedding bouquet by talented Florist The Floral Madam, which perfectly matched the Grooms peacock feather buttonhole.

"Trish's 1950s style lace dress was made by talented seamstress Joleen Lawrence {see contact details below}, and she looked stunning. Her flowers were by the Groom's sister, who is the florist behind The Floral Madam. Her bouquet and the buttonhole included peacock feathers for a quirky touch…"

"It was a very small and intimate affair, with only a handful of guests and a ceremony at the Archbishop's Palace registry office in Maidstone, followed by dinner at La Zia Maria, an Italian restaurant in Goudhurst.

After the ceremony, we snatched ten minutes just before the sun set for some natural portraits. It was March, so the late afternoon was like the golden hour, where you get the most beautiful light…"
