Exclusive: Belle & Bunty Unveil Six New Bridal Wear Designs…

Well I'm delighted to have a little exclusive for you this afternoon, because these images haven't been seen elsewhere yet, so I'm pretty pleased that independent fashion label and bridal wear designers Belle & Bunty chose to share them with Love My Dress.  I have previously featured this stylish London label before on Love My Dress, which has received a warm welcome from Brides wanting something less traditional that is fashion conscious and with a vintage feel.

I love Belle & Bunty. I love their Britishness and commitment to ensuring their dresses are 'Made in the UK'. I love their beautiful wedding dresses, all floaty chiffon, delicate silks and intricate beading. Wafts of fabric, feminine draping and effortless chic. Indeed, if any designer was to read my mind and come up with a collection based on my personal preferences, this would be it. Bravo therefore to designers Alice Shreeve and Hannah Conian Thompson – who created this pretty and quintessentially English collection of bridal wear based on the dresses they each designed for their own respective weddings, named of course, the 'Belle' {Alice} and the 'Bunty' {Hannah}.

Belle & Bunty Bridal launched at the end of 2010 and before long, the 'Willow' design had, unsurprisingly, established itself as a best-seller. This stunning vintage inspired gown, also available in the most exquisite emerald green silk crepe {I die!} is the perfect wardrobe fix for a woman seeking instant and full-on 40's style glamour.  And in wedding dress terms, it's £1,200 price tag is more than appealing. Compare this to designers working with similar silhouettes and this really is an investment not to be sniffed at…

This month, the Belle & Bunty design team have extended their bridal wear colleciton by unveiling six beautiful new gowns. Belle & Bunty Designer, Hannah Conian Thompson tells me more…

"Belle & Bunty’s debut Bridal collection, which launched at the end of 2010, was met with a tremendous response. In keeping with the vintage-style elegance and effortless glamour of the collection, the new styles comprise four brand new silhouettes and two variations on the bestselling Willow and Primrose styles.

These new pieces are key additions to the collection, offering brides a wider selection and variety of looks while upholding the quality and craftsmanship at the heart of the collection; made in pure silk, exclusively in the UK with handmade detailing…"
