2012 sees the launch of a series of ‘signature collections’ of wedding stationery by Cutture. Remaining recognisable to the Cutture design style that brides and their beaus are falling for, it was time to release some collections aside from our bespoke work, and we are feeling pretty excited by them! For 3 years Cutture has been predominantly a bespoke service, having initially introduced ‘collections’ at the start of the wedding stationery venture, bespoke was always the option that clients opted for…. great for our creativity and we have been allowed to develop our design style and techniques through the wonderfully trusting bride and grooms who have invested in our work.

Increasingly over the last year demand for Cutture wedding stationery has become high and we have a good idea of what it is the client wants, we have recognizable bespoke designs which are tailor made to each client still, as per our ‘storyboard’ designs where we literally create designs from photographs provided by the clients of their lives together, which will always be popular. However this style does not suit everybody, so we thought it was about time we released some new designs as ‘Signature Collections’ that people can simply choose and put their stamp on them by creating their own stationery in terms of font choices, colour ways etc.
We are very happy to introduce to you the first 3 designs, which we launched at the Designer Wedding Show last weekend. The collections are luxurious and are recognizable as Cutture down to the high quality design and finish including beautiful, uncoated 350gsm two tone coloured card and silk screen printing. The benefit for offering collections is that couples can ultimately choose a design they feel suits them and they can match the elements of their stationery that they need for their day, still adding tailor made elements to the designs which we will artwork for them.
The first design is our tried and tested design from the 2011 Designer Wedding Show this was a ‘showpiece’ collection for the show and the response was so huge we have modeled it into one of our signature styles, the ‘Orchid Garden’ collection. This design is the first of it’s kind in that it is not only laser cut, it has a 3 dimensional effect as the illustrations can be pulled forward from the page to give a beautifully detailed design throughout the range…
The second collection is again based on a design we have created before for day stationery only, we loved it so much we have created a full collection in this whimsical yet fun style and this is named our ‘Midsummer Collection’, incorporating stylized foliage and even frogs, this design is fun and quirky and the day stationery has been designed so that it acts as part of the décor on the day itself. Beautifully detailed and all available in punchy colours to really stand out from the crowd.
The final design is based on a more classic style, this is almost a bespoke design as we can draw your own monogram to be incorporated into your stationery in a traditional italic font or a more contemporary style, and this therefore is our ‘Monogram’ collection. This design suits weddings that are traditional or contemporary as can be teamed with the font to suit your style from classic to cool.
All of these collections will be available on our website where eventually you will be able to choose colours and fonts alongside your designs and we are always a phone call away if there are any special requirements. We will be updating our website with a slight re-brand and new system to incorporate our signature collections in the coming months as well as releasing new designs to our range. Any feedback on the collections is always welcome and we look forward to working with many more couples for their weddings through this new service as well as continuing creating bespoke pieces for weddings, events and anything else in between!
