Brides with a penchant for beautiful era inspired dresses and divine vintage inspired shoes will want to know about an event taking place on 21st April, where the shoe designer Emmy Scarterfield of Emmy Shoes will be hosting an event with the girls behind the exciting new Belle and Bunty label, Hannah and Alice.
I have muchos respect and love for Belle & Bunty, they love what they do with an absolutely passion {I've met the girls a few times now} and are committed to ensuring their manufacturing all remains within Britain, which scores big brownie points for me. Their designs are also so incredibly elegant, such pretty draping, shoulder detail, just so beautifully cut and fitting. Designers Alice Shreeve and Hannah Conian Thompson have it pretty much nailed in the 'vintage inspired and still affordable' market.
Any one who knows me knows I am obsessed with Emmy Shoes – designer Emmy Scarterfield stole my heart prior to my wedding and I wore a pair of her beautiful, silver, sparkly heels on my own wedding day.
It's great news that these two creative forces are joining for an event that will provide a rare opportunity for brides to meet the designers, relax in comfortable surroundings and chat through their ideas and try on as many shoes and dresses as they like.
Could be a heavenly afternoon ladies, I suggest you reconsider any plans you have for that day…
