Lunch Time Wedding Film ~ Sarah-Anne and Jamie’s Skye Wedding…

I love to treat my readers to cinematic treats during their lunch break – and this film today is a real delight.  It was sent in by one of my favourite film makers, Frances Madell of Reellove Films and features the wedding of Sarah-Anne and Jamie.

This gorgeous Isle of Skye wedding featured over on Style Me Pretty recently, photographed by Marianne Taylor.

"Sarah-Anne and Jamie's wedding day came and we woke up to glorious sunshine, sparkly sea and the most beautiful setting for a wedding. Sarah-Anne got ready at her family home, Scorrybreac, which overlooks the sea and has dreamy views form all the windows – she looked gorgeous in her Martina Liana dress and shoes from Vera Wang.  Jamie and the boys all wore Kilts – it was our first time with kilts…we are now converted!

I’m not particularly religious, but the ceremony was conducted by family friend, Father Jim Lawlor, who was so touching and funny, he made me want to go to his church just to hang out with him.

Beautiful details ran through the day, Lavender, Peonies, candles, paper pompoms, bunting – it was all perfect, as I'm sure you'll see…"

This film is a production of the brilliant and wonderful Reellove Films

"The drinks reception took place back at  Scorrybreac and a traditional highland march though Portree, led by bagpipes, took everyone to the Skye Gathering Hall for the wedding breakfast and evening. This venue was special to so many people there, Sarah Anne’s parents even met there, it was magical.

A ceilidh followed the Speeches and lots of drams were downed – we got in at 5am!"

Who said you're not allowed a quick tipple on the job eh? 🙂 I hope this film made you smile as much as it did me. You can see the full wedding feature over on Style Me Pretty right now.
