Morning all, it's Friiidaaaayyy – hoorah!
I just had to start today with something beautiful and nothing comes close to being as beautiful and really, rather sexy as these photographs, in my view right now.
I first spotted these outrageously glamorous headpiece designs, and frankly rather steamy images, via a series of very excited Twitter updates from the designer earlier this week; Hermione Harbutt was celebrating the launch of her 'Red Carpet' collection – sumptuous pieces ranging from the sensual and dark to the fun and effervescent; something, Hermione tells me, to match the taste of all ladies…

I spoke to Hermione about her new collection, here's what she had to say…
'Ladies have repeatedly asked if my original bridal designs are available in a range of colours, so I set about designing a range of pieces that were specifically created in colour. I wanted to provide that unique statement piece of couture to set ladies apart when facing the flashbulbs for Red Carpet Events style events.
The popularity of headdresses continues to grow and jewelled headwear is no longer confined to the wedding day, but suitable for wide range of special events to add wow factor to any outfit….'
'The Red Carpet collection features a wide range of colours and designs. As with the bridal collections, inspiration was taken from bygone eras and applied to current colour trends to create modern pieces with a vintage feel.
Large deco roses silhouetted against the hair, concentric circles
of delicate beading and bright turquoise framed with gold and lapis are
just a few style of pieces available.'
Los Angeles is the epicenter of the world's most glamorous red carpet
events, and residents of equally glamorous Beverly Hills are no
stranger to a red carpet or two, so it seemed the ideal place for
Hermione to chose to launch the new Hermione Harbutt AW12 Red Carpet
Collection.
Hermione flew out to the US
and the private viewing was held at the Palihouse, a chic, boutique
lounge bar in the heart of Hollywood (canny job if you can get it!).
Red carpet photographers snapped away whilst guests discussed the
various events and projects they would like to use the pieces for, and
Hermione explained the intricate designs and custom service, which
allows any buyer's precious stone to be set into one of the designs as
the ultimate personalisation. Over thirty pieces from the collection
were on display and guests were invited to model a head piece of their
choice for the evening and pose for photographers.
Hermione, may I offer my services to you as an Intern, please…???
Fancy getting your glamorous lady Ga-Ga on anyone? I actually really like this design, it's Avant Garde and sexy. I dare you…
Prior to the launch in Los Angeles, a glamorous photo shoot
was held in San Francisco and the photographs you see on this page today are the result. Chosen for it's amazing city skyline and
vistas, the photo shoot took place in a luxurious mansion high up on a
hillside of the city. Many of the images were taken from the rooftops
and it provided the perfect setting for a stylish showcase video
I thought you'd like to see this little 'behind the scenes' video…
Utterly sublime, I think you'll agree?

Now tell me, which is your fave – can you even single out just one piece?!?!?
Lots of red carpet love to you all,
Annabel
