Good afternoon loves, this is one for all you brides to be (or newlyweds!) who enjoy a spot of DIY. And maybe it's for those of you too who have up to now been a little nervous about DIY'ing, but fancy doing something pretty for your wedding day.
I've long been a supporter of Vicky Trainor, the designer and founder of The Vintage Drawer, and who's work has featured on Love My Dress many times.
Today, Vicky opens a beautiful new on-line store caled The Linen Garden, and it's designed with you lovely DIY loving brides in mind…

The Linen Garden is a place that allows Vicky to continue her obsession
with ‘hoarding’ and ‘collecting’ beautiful antique and vintage haberdashery and
fabrics, but this time instead of using it herself in her own collections she
is also sharing all the pretties with you too.
From beautiful Victorian collars to Edwardian dress inserts,
to cut fabric flowers from the 1940’s and new antiqued printed paper fans, so
much to create with and be inspired by.
Vicky's 'Linen Garden' offers the perfect escape and indulgence for the Bride and Groom
who have dreams and creative visions of ‘making’ pieces themselves and with
their families…
Throughout January, Vicky is aso developing her 'The Vintage Drawer' collection, so you can purchase DIY versions of her products and use them to decorate your reception for example. From
embroidered hooped table numbers to place names, to pretty lavender filled
pillows for favours. (This service
excludes Vicky's invitations)….
Also as a little treat Vicky will be featuring inspiring DIY
projects on her blog The Linen Garden, so there's plenty of time to get making for a
Spring/Summer wedding this year!
So, if you are a busy Bride, who dreams about making lots of
linen lovelies for your day but is time poor to source the materials, then The Linen Garden store is the perfect place to hoard and gather a little box of
antique and vintage tricks. A very
cheerful place for you to visit once in a while. It will also be open 7 days a
week, all year round. Perfection!
Every month Vicky will be holding a giveaway; for every purchase
made, your name will be entered into a flower tin. So if you buy 7 items your name will be entered 7
times. You can pop back to buy at
any time and this process will be repeated. This month, you can win a pretty sewing case/book, hand
made in Vicky’s studio. The winner
will be announced on her blog on Valentines Day.
How sweet is that?

I'd love to hear from any DIY loving reader. Do you thin this is something you might try out?
With much love,
Annabel
