‘Our signature style is one of elegant simplicity, fine craftsmanship, and exquisite detailing and it can be found across all of our collections, from the in-house London Collection to our bespoke pieces and the new diffusion collection, Echo.
All of our dresses are proudly made by hand to exacting standards in London. I am passionate about crafting each and every dress with love and care, so that they are extra special for my brides. Working with only the finest fabrics and natural fibres, I also insist on pure silk linings in all of my dresses so that they feel as wonderful to wear as they look.’

The Emma Hunt studio and showroom are based in leafy Wimbledon Park, where you will find an incredibly beautiful collection of in-house designed couture dresses, The London Collection and Emma’s diffusion collection, Echo.
So how did this designer get into bridalwear and what inspired her on her designer journey?
‘After graduating with a BA degree in Fashion, I made clothes for friends and family as a hobby for a few years, before deciding to start my own business in 1997. I designed a small collection of wedding dresses that combined a flare for fashion with a keen awareness for garment construction, and the Emma Hunt label was born. I have been designing couture bridalwear and bespoke pieces for 16 years now, along with my small but expert team in my private Wimbledon studio.’
I’m always fascinated to find out what inspires designers and how they approach the incredible task of turning fabric in to an exquisite dress.
‘Fabric and texture greatly inspire my designs – the way something will drape or blend with something else is often the starting point for new designs.
The old masters of fashion couture houses are always a constant source of inspiration, as are the black and white photos of Hoyningen-Huene. Alphonse Mucha has always been one of my favourite artists and I am never bored of his work – it always reveals something new.
Nature also inspires me constantly – as a designer you see shapes in clouds, or a petal of the smallest flower. Even a simple feather can make your brain tick.’
‘The London Collection uses sumptuous fabrics and discreet built-in structure for wonderfully flattering gowns. They are made with our Couture service, which means they are made-to-measure and can have slight design adjustments for a fit that is uniquely yours.’
‘The Echo collection mirrors the timeless elegance of the main collection but with a fresh, modern appeal. An overall tone of lightness and grace is realised with soft, fluid silhouettes, light structuring and delicate detailing.’
‘Our Bespoke service allows you to create a one-of-a-kind dress designed especially for you by me, either by modifying an existing London Collection dress, or by helping you realise ideas of your own. Each dress is made from scratch in our London studio and I will work very closely with you to guide you in fabrics and shapes to ensure the result is a truly special piece that is uniquely yours.’
The Couture service is given to all clients who visit us at our Wimbledon showroom, and offers my dedicated personal service as I work closely with each bride to make sure that she walks away with her dream dress.
Our dresses are designed to make our brides feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful. I have built a reputation for my attention to detail, creating dresses of the highest quality and finishing, with exquisite beading, delicate applique accents and precisely placed lace offering effortlessly beautiful details.
Gowns from the Emma Hunt London Collection start from £2,600, while the Echo collection starts at £1,900. Emma Hunt also provides a bespoke design service allowing for brides to have a one-of-a-kind dress designed especially for them by Emma. This service starts from £3,500.
