Hello fabulous readers of Love My Dress. My name is Tamryn and I would like to confess to you today that I am, indeed, a stationery addict. From their pretty pom-pom filled studio in heavenly Devon, husband and wife team of Jenny and Emiko and their small design team, design, print and provide gorgeous, stylish and affordable wedding stationery to couples right around the world.
They have both been in the stationery business for years but launched Hip Hip Hooray when they realised that there was a need for beautiful stationery that could be delivered quickly and at a price people can afford. “We knew first hand about good looking stationery,” says Jenny. “But we realised design can be a lengthy process and sometimes, timescales, budgets and design don’t align.”
And so Hip Hip Hooray was born – a stationery company that has lots of fun with their designs and also allows clients huge flexibility. You can print your own or order printed pieces, select wording, mix and match collections and even use innovative online technology to be able to customise designs instantly via the Hip Hip Hooray website.
You can see exactly how your stationery will look before you order and as there’s no back and forth with designers, the process can be much quicker.
The collections that Hip Hip Hooray offer vary from the bold bright and playful Candy Colours to the stripes and chevrons of the geometric ranges. We simply love the charming wild garden designs with their wide watercolour bands and delicate botanical illustrations. The chalkboard style suites and airmail edged ranges are absolutely on-trend and there’s plenty of vintage styling too. Add in fun photo booth signs and free printable escort cards and place cards and we’re all in stationery heaven.
“Brides are rightly so very ambitious with their big days now,” says Jenny. “Scrapbooks with clippings have been replaced by Pinterest and the stakes are higher than ever before. We regularly introduce new collections to make sure we’re exceeding client expectations and we offer 14 different items in every single collection of stationery, so every stage of wedding planning is covered.”
